Rick Hochberg is an Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He received his BS and MA in Biology from Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA and his PhD in Zoology at the University of New Hampshire. He has held postdoctoral positions at the Queensland Museum in Brisbane, Australia and the Smithsonian Marine Station in Fort Pierce, Florida. His research focus is on the biodiversity, evolution and functional morphology of marine and freshwater meiofauna using classical and advanced microscopical techniques and molecular sequencing.
