About Cory Pittman

Cory Pittman is a naturalist with extensive experience in general marine
invertebrates, mostly in Hawaii but also in the broader Indo-Pacific.
His focus has been on micro species, particularly mollusks, with a
special emphasis on Opisthobranchs. Although based in Washington State,
he has visited Hawaii in various capacities since 1978 both working with
classes and doing research. His largest project, to date, is a
comprehensive survey of Hawaiian opisthobranchs in collaboration with
Pauline Fiene. He has also contributed to a variety of other projects
including the 2006 CREEF cruise to French Frigate Shoals.
